Lord & Taylor hosted their exclusive shopping event
Love at First Sight on Thursday, November 5, 2009 on
their second and third floors of their New York
store, located at 424 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Previously held in Spring 2009, the Fall event
hosted an exclusive runway show and ULS provided the
sound equipment for this fabulous event. LAFS
The Love at First Sight runway show featured finale
pieces from students of the Parsons School of Design
who entered an exclusive party dress design
competition for Lord & Taylor. An industry celebrity
panel, including America's Next Top Model judge
Nigel Barker, will be on hand to weigh in on the
winner of the student design competition. A portion
of the proceeds from three winning dresses from the
Parsons competition will go to the charity of
Nigel's choice, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids
Foundation. Be one of the first to see the winning
design that will be for sale at Lord & Taylor in
Spring 2010.
To top it all off, there was a performance by 80's
pop star Lisa Lisa and some of the hottest DJs had
spin tunes throughout the night. Official Christian
Dior DJ Harley Viera Newton had headline the night,
along with DJ Lindsay Luv.
